This is a magical place. For kids of preschool age there is nothing better anywhere. The rides alone (which never have long lines) would make it a wonderful day out with your child. Add the animals and the incredible play structure in the middle and...More

There's many sections of this park that you will find interesting. I'm native of San Jose and every visit I feel as though I see a different side to the park each time. There's tables to picnic or BBQ at, there's the pond at the...More

Visited this zoo when my kid was 4 yrs old. It is the right size for young kids, as you don't have to walk long distances between attractions. The Meerkat habitat was the best !

I took my almost 3-year-old grandson here today. This is a great little zoo/park for young children. There's a zoo, a farm animal section where the kids can pet and feed goats, several kiddie rides, and a few shows. There is a small cafe with...More

We loved this park/zoo mix. The way they combined zoo with park is genius and made for a unique fun filled visit. We came a little late so we only had 2 hours, so we rushed through but the kids had a blast as well...More

My personal reason for visiting (as a roller coaster enthusiast) was to ride the Pacific Fruit Express coaster (it's only a kiddie coaster but I wanted to add it to my coaster count anyway), however as my wife and I both love animals we took...More

We just passed by the zoo and the amusements for children on our multiple visits to Happy Hollow Park. It is a beautiful setting, although the redwoods there seem to be distressed because of the recycled water that is used. It has a high salinity...More

This is a great park for preschool children. The rides are age appropriate and the petting zoo area is terrific. The children love seeing and touching the animals. It is family friendly - you can bring snacks for your children without having to "hide" it.
