This park has trails in the open and trails in tree areas. Enjoyable hike with terrific views. Lots of available parking and also had restrooms. We walked the trail with the trees and had a good workout!

The park is wonderful and has multiple options for the type of walking or hiking. The trails are well marked and there is plenty of facilities for use. We saw so much wifdlife - deer, hawks, beautiful birds , etc... Enjoy you will love it

Alum Rock Park is a great hiking location with lots of trails for different levels of difficulty. I haven't been up since the fire happened.

I agree with the other answers about walking along the road but more areas for stroller are paved at the furthest parking lot. So depending on how far you want to hike and the time of year also makes a difference if you want... More
