We really enjoyed our brief visit to the town and Mission. Very nice gardens and museum. We have made it a goal to see all 21 missions. I would say that this one is one of my favorites -- along the lines of La Purisima...More

OK was here for festival but stopped after visiting mission. Stables are very interesting carriages of all kinds to see. And buildings to view. Was a great idea to visit this gem after mission.

A large grass covered area separates the historic park from the Old Mission at San Juan Bautista. The park and mission are built on the San Adreas fault that shakes California from time to time. Park of the movie "Vertigo" was filmed here.

Nice with pretty views. The handicap accessibility is a little tough with curved walkways and other places unpaved. Parking is on side streets.

There is much to see in this beautifully preserved site! You'll want to walk around and take in the lovely views and see the historic buildings. We arrived on a rainy day, so we're planning to return for a much longer visit in better weather!

The buildings have been preserved in much the original condition. The Adobes are well cared for, and the houses and buildings on the square have been restored to as much former glory as possible. And of course one of the best preserved missions in the...More

Surprisingly comprehensive. The museum is well worthwhile for understanding what life was like in the 1800's and before.
