This is a very reasonable and clean park especially for this part of California. Provides for easy access to San Clemente, Laguna, and connected areas. The park staff was friendly and helpful. The sites were large and included power and water, no septic. We were...More

We almost came across this place by accident. Heading up the East coast and most beaches are State owned. RV parking is expensive and most places are booked well in advance. Quick Google search brought us here. With a small senior discount we paid $21...More

The park is beautiful and there are some fantastic spots available, however, there are no pets allowed other than horses. This was disappointing to us as we have a small dog and that's one of the reasons we want to camp. I have it a...More

This is one of my favorite hike-to-go place! Every time, the place makes me feel very good to be there and rejuvenating. Wish we have more rains here, so we can cress-cross the creek as we hike. It's so pretty when there is water in...More

Even if it's cold, you can get outdoors at Caspers Wilderness Park. There's so much: camping, hiking, walking, playground, kid activities, visitor's center, historic farm sites. Lots of acreage and many different hiking and walking trails take you and your family through riverine, desert, and...More

Bring your hiking shoes, water, snacks and a camera! This is a great park in which to spend an afternoon hiking and exploring. With the recent rains, it's green and the creek has a nice amount of water. We walked down near the edge and...More

Great location. Went again yesterday for a kid party -- hiking along the creek, catching baby frogs, playing sack races...reminiscent of our childhood and no electronics for the kids! YAY!

Take Ortega Highway from the 5 freeway, and it's about 15 minutes. As Repub76 says, it's a nice smooth drive--and pretty. It's two lanes, but it's actually a highway, so it's nicely maintained.
