This is worth a stop if you're in the area but I wouldn't make a special trip to see it. I got the feeling that they really don't want visitors. The girls in the gift shop were very wooden and unfriendly. Not much information offered...More

Underwhelming. If this is your 1st mission, like your 1st diamond it will be awesome until you view other diamonds with brillance and clairity. It lacks the beauty of others and the historical vibrant tour. Still like all diamonds it should be visited.

This lovely little mission church is located on what has to be the prettiest plaza in the state. Try being there when there's a wedding scheduled

One of the main attractions in San Luis Obispo. It’s worth visiting but don’t expect too much. Lovely place with rich historical background but found the Carmel Mission far more interesting

A very small but beautiful Mission. This Mission was founded in September 1772 by Franciscan Father Junípero Serra; this mission was the fifth mission founded by Father Serra.

I love the flowers and birds painted on the inside walls of this church. Nice gardens outside in season. Interesting history. Free at this time to view church.
