Every Thursday night through out the year, the city hosts a delightful outdoor market/festival where local farmers sell the freshest fruits, vegetables and produce while local musicians and performers entertain the crowds.

I used to go to college here so it was fun to come back to SLO town, but I wasn't expecting this. What a hoot. It was pretty hard to find a place to park but it would be SLO if it was easy to...More

We drove down Higuera Street on our way to he public parking lot and it was wide open, traffic flowing, not a booth in sight. We thought we had somehow missed it or it was no longer happening. Within 45 minutes, the street had shut...More

Every Thursday booths and crowds congregate on Higuera street downtown for an mix of farm produce--maybe half the total--and an eclectic mix of other booths including food, political and religious exhibits and entertainment. SLO Framers Market has gone down hill over the years. Produce is horrible compared to other farmers markets. As a local I will shop the other markets for more local better produce. Thursday night is nothing but a tourist trap, not a good representation of...More

I don't know how anyone could rate this farmer's market anything but a 5. They have some of the best produce I've seen by many vendors. It does get a little crowded and parking can be a problem, but the walk is always nice (and...More

Thursday 6pm to 9pm. It's extremely popular, finding parking can be tough, better idea is to walk or use the trolley (50 cents per person)

We always stay at the Apple Farm. Approx. 15 minute walk, but there is also local transportation right along the street to take you to the market.
