The wife and I loved this area. Very enjoyable place to walk around before you go into the Mission. Bring quarters for street parking.

This is often a venue for festivities though is worth visiting on its own merit. Many restaurants and shops are in walking distance. You can picnic on the grounds as well as sit on the lawn of the amphiteatre. The Art Museum is close by...More

It's right next to the mission. If you drove south on Monterey,Street, and ran the stoplight at Chorro, you'd be driving illegally on the Plaza. There's parking a block or so away in a structure north of the plaza. Lots... More
