Want to enjoy some great theater in an intimate setting? SLO's Little Theatre is the place to go. Some really wonderful plays and actors perform here! We like the children's plays….Some budding actors grow their talent on this stage.

We had a great evening at a musical production based on Shakespeare's influence on modern theater. Unfortunately the show has now closed but based on our experience at this one, we would try another show if we return.

One of my God daughters teachs at the SLO Little Theater and often performs there. This is the best Little Theater I've ever seen. The arrangement of the stage and the seating ensures an intimate experience regardless of where you sit. The casts are always wonderful and the choice of plays intriguing. I come all the way from the SF Bay Area for productions there. It's that good!

The theatre productions are generally very good to excellent. The plays are varied, from comedies to musicals to serious drama. The actors are good and are both local but also from out of state. Because the theatre is small, every seat is good and the setting intimate. The prices are very good too.

Eight of us just saw the play "The Foreigner" last Saturday and really had a great time. Easy to park and find a place prior to theatre time for dinner. The theatre has coffee and drinks before the lights are dimmed and there is an intermission of coffee and cookies. We love this cozy theatre and will probably get season tickets now!

we saw the musical "chorus line" at the little threatre last weekend and boy can those kids sing and dance. i was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of all the actors, and there were a bunch of them! we always enjoy this truly little theatre.

A total MUST if anyone is anywhere near San Luis Obispo. The only thing "little" about this theatre is the actual size--which makes for a very intimate and enjoyable experience. The ambiance of this gem is like no other, and has to be experienced if you are a theatre lover. This is no "small town production theatre" --they rock!(And not a bad seat in the house--although I'm partial to the seats directly in front of the stage).
