This is a fun, interactive, easy to get to, park, etc., place for kids to have hands on learning experience in the sciences and interaction with animals. You can take a picnic and the kids can play in the awesome playground near the museum. If you don't live too far away, consider a membership and you can go often!

Curiodyssey is awesome! There are three great things here - the beach, magic mountain play ground and CuriOdyssey itself. Top tip is - on hot days, when parking is tough, park at the beach, that lot is generally empty (ish). It's the second left past the turn to Magic Mountain. CuriOdyssey is great for the kids to run around, burn... More

CuriOdyssey is a great place to bring children of all ages, and their parents and grandparents too! Sweeping views and a small type "exploratorium" for children. (Loved watching my grandson there!) The animals kept at the sanctuary are beautiful and their stories are posted with them . . . makes you grateful that this animal sanctuary exists. The dedication and... More

Went on a Wednesday between Christmas and New Years. Lots of children before 11am. My five year old boy enjoyed seeing the small animals the best. He could get pretty close to them, compared to the standard zoo. The animals can be seen both indoors and outdoors. My son enjoyed watching the falcon and river otter feedings. The other part... Access to Coyote point gives you large playground as well as Curiodyssey. The museum itself is a bit small in my opinion

Great fun place with the kids. Well maintained with staff that know all about the animals and the exhibits with clear passions for what they do. Love it with younger kids. Great place and worth a visit. Worth mentioning if you like planes it's right under the landing pattern for SFO so a great area to see planes

Lots of hands on stuff for the young ones to manipulate, and also a small selection of animals. We saw the otters being fed when we were there; very cute!

I love going here as much as I did as a kid. Although I'm partial to the name "Coyote Point" I think CuriOdyssey is cute and sums the museum up well. Two thumbs up.

It is only 15-20 minutes drive from San Mateo. The parking is easy. The setting is nice. After playing with all the hands on toys, you can walk around the grounds. By the bay side, you can see the planes coming in to SFO one after the other. Kids get a big thrill seeing the planes coming.

Took my toddler here. It's a tiny place and we were done within an hour or so. The kid had fun looking at the birds though. Its good to kill a couple of hours with the kid. The location is nice too.
