A beautiful town

A very beautiful town, it's worthwhile to stop by on 101 freeway to or from LA. You can experience Spanish vibe a bit in the visit.

We reserved the Mural Room for our wedding in Feb 2017. The whole process was very easy and reasonably priced. We booked about 4 months in advance with no trouble. The Mural Room is gorgeous and thankfully indoors. It rained our wedding weekend but we had no worries bc everything was inside and warm. The room holds about 100 guests... More

We had our wedding here over the weekend… And the mural room was absolutely incredible. Our guests loved the space and the price was beyond reasonable. You will have some looky-loo random people watching from the back as the entire courthouse is open to the public at all times... but in the end, I thought that was a charming aspect.... More

We took the docent tour of this amazing building. The grounds - gardens -- and interior are lovely. The mural room is a great overview of SB history, and the hallways, stairways, and other rooms are terrific. The tower gives you a great 360 view of SB.

Old world architecture, beautiful surroundings and magnificent views from the top. A must see. Reminded me of Venice looking down on the red roof tiles. Scenic mountain views were amazing.

It's free to explore the courthouse, but remember there are trials and hearings in session during the week. The tower which is accessible by stairs or elevator gives one of the best 360 views of Santa Barbara.

This place is stunning. The entrance is free of charge, you can walk inside and visit the observation point in the tower. The views are wonderful even on a cloudy day. The building itself boasts exquisite interiors with beatiful colorful tiles, which reminded me of Seville.

What an incredible view on a clear day from atop the clock tower. Highly recommend. The clock works room is a nice addition and the volunteers very helpful.

Totally impressed with Santa Barbara and their historical courthouse; which is simply amazing! What a well-preserved piece of history that is open to the public. The Spanish - Moorish influence is strong throughout the building and has been well maintained. If the main courtroom is not in use - it is fabulous to see all the history telling murals that... Do not miss this stunning building or the view from the top. I walked up the steps and stopped on each floor on the way. Be sure to see the clock workings and the murals and tiles throughout the building.
