Santa Barbara's art museum is impressive for a small town. The temporary exhibits in particular are very strong. Exceptional cafe.

Great location for walking State Street, this is an important SB institution. Collections range from the traditional and the contemporary and is always a great stop on your walk. The museum shops is also nice.

Extraordinary collection of world famous artists. Especially the Impressionists. Also has a very worth-while Asian museum and many sculptures from the Roman & Greek eras..

Even though the museum is under construction the few permanent items and special exhibits were very interesting.
