Dogs to the left and people to the right. Actually dogs can go right if on a leash, left is the off-leash area. This beach gets crowded; lots of dogs, walkers, families and folks just enjoying the restaurant. Try to come on a weekday for...More

Take your time. Parking can be a big problem but somehow we usually manage it. There is side, dirt parking lot but even that gets filled up. Why? Because it's the best beach - you can walk for miles. Dogs welcome -- and on left...More

Locals hidden hangout, dog & surfer friendly. Downtown yet off the beaten track. Locals call it Hendrey's (Henry's) Beach.Great waves plus a lovely beachside restaurant where you can get a drink inside and watch the kids playing outside on the sand.

The off leash section is a must do for you and your dog. We and our dog loved it and will return soon.

The weather was great on a busy Sunday. Parking was full and required patience, but well worth the wait. We walked north along the beach and eventually left the crowds behind. This is a beautiful beach. I would love to return on a weekday, and...More

Parking lot always busy but I walk to this beach along the shoreline from other beaches. Just watch the tide. Dog area at this beach.
