Not only is this beach dog friendly, but it is the most scenic beach in Santa Barbara. Ample parking, with a popular restaurant on the property. While you're here be sure to Google "Douglas Family Preserve" which is close by and a "social event for dogs"!

This is a beautiful beach. The area is nicely maintained, has restrooms, benches, parking, and a restaurant. It is a nice place to go relax in the winter. It is also a great place to take dogs. My husband is an artist and sat on the beach and painted, while I enjoyed sitting on the benches, listening to the ocean... More

Stopped here to check out the view, and grab some nice photos, There is a great restaurant here as well, with an ocean view, literally steps off the sand. Lots of people bring their dogs here to walk around so be mindful of the ground as you walk around. The women here are also superb and make a nice scenery... More

I was on vacation visiting a friend and found this trail. My intentions were to run the trail but I walked the steeper parts but what a great trail and a great workout whether you run or walk. Plenty of people on the trail so I felt comfortable being solo on the trail.

I went and walked on the beach one morning before my conference meetings. It was lovely. Warm sunshine. Joyful dogs. Peaceful people out strolling. Before 8:30am, there was no difficulty with parking or being overcrowded on the beach.

This is a most popular beach with good facilities. Go left with your dog and let him off the leash. Go right and good people watching. Parking can be a problem on weekends, and because it's popular it is highly populated. If you want quiet head south to Summerland

Took a leisurely drive through the Hope Ranch area. After winding through the road we came upon Arroyo Burro Beach. Very nice, walked the beach north for about a mile. Noted this beach for future reference. I wonder how busy it is in July?

arroyo burro is not to far out of the way for tourists. it has a small parking lot that is shared with the Boathouse restaurant. so it is sometimes difficult to park..probably another review but the Boathouse has very good food. the beach offers long walks at low tide, great sunsets.

The only beach in Santa Barbara that allows dogs off leash!! Since my dog makes frequent road trips with my wife and I, we will always be visiting this beach when we're in the area!
