It was 20 years since my last visit to Santa Barbara. I was worried it wouldn't live up to the memory I held on to. State Street delivered and some. My wife and I only stopped in SB for 2 nights. We could have spent...More

Walked both sides, great to eat, drink liked the English pub half way up the street, check out the signage in the window. Great cocktail place at the top of the hill well worth it, had several made the walk back down the hill easier

The sunshine, colourful trees in full flower contrasting with the white painted buildings absolutely beautiful to look at. Good variety of shops and restaurants along the street, plenty of shade from the trees for walking. Just love this street.

Lovely area to walk and browse shops while admiring the Spanish architecture and mountains in the background. Fun place to people watch, stroll or grab a bite to eat.

Great that everything is located on this one street which makes things very easy when exploring on foot or bicycle. The theatres are all beautiful buildings. Everything you need and want is on this street.

State Street is very pretty. We got off the trolley at the Court House and walked down State Street, browsing in the shops. There are many restaurants to chose from.

Best bet would be to take a hop-on, hop-off trolley. Direct, not from the ship, most ship trolley tours are none stop.
