It's always worth a walk on Stearns Wharf. You can drive out and park. Interestingly, public parking in Santa Barbara is the best deal in town - two bucks for the first 90 minutes. Several excellent restaurants on the Wharf, as well as an excellent Museum on Natural History, which concentrates on the sea live and oceans. Don't forget to... More

The ocean is always soothing. This place is so quiet and calmed that goes perfect with its views.. It is a good spot for fishing and relaxing. There are a few restaurants.. My teen kids said it was a kind of boring, but that depends on what you're looking for.

From here you can watch the seals and shorebirds play. There are always fishermen at the end of the pier. Good, although expensive shopping and restaurants. It is well worth the money to have a meal here where you can take in the views. Come at sunset for a special treat.

To begin our trip up North, we stopped at State St to have a little ice cream and walk along the wooden pier. Parking was fairly easy as it was a weekday. I just traveled up a couple of side streets before finding a place to parallel park that was free for a couple of hours. Work out nicely for... More

Driving out to the end of the pier was an interesting experience and the first 90 minutes are free, shopping was minimal, watched many fishermen get lucky..

We spent around 3+ hours here and paid $5 as parking. Make sure you exit once in 90 minutes as first 90 minutes are free parking. We had lunch and tasted wine at deep sea winery.. Walked around interesting stores and drove out. We also saw the sea history museum here. This is a pet friendly place.

This is a nice wharf comparable to the Santa Monica pier. There are a few nice restaurants and shops. It offers a nice view of the Santa Barbara coast.

A nice walk and views but little else of interest except for maritime museum, few shops and restaurants.

Always fun for a walk and a visit to the Sea Center, not to mention great choices for food! You can walk out or park on the pier.

This is good for the view, but aside from a few restaurants and shops there really wasn't much to see. Not worth a special trip.
