Local boy done good - Ryan Carr did it the old fashioned way - hard work!- and makes some of the best wines in SB county. Pinots, Sangiovese are personal favorites. The winery on Salsipuedes off of Haley St. Is in the 'new funk zone',...More

Excellent red wines- pinots in particular (try "The Yard" if it's available!) also syrahs made by a couple who built the winery from the ground (literally) on up. A large comfortable space and location that's a nice break from typical tasting rooms. In an old...More

Great wine tasting in a cozy winery. Wines were good all around, the Turner Vineyard Pinot Noir was the standout. Hostess was very friendly. Very kid-friendly. The hostess brought Sodas for our kids which were well-entertained by table games of checkers, backgammon and curling.

So good to visit Carr. Friendly place to get a glass of wine and taste some of Santa Barbara's best pinots. Veronica was so pleasant and gracious. A must.
