The Reagan Ranch Center is free to the public and run by the Young America's foundation. It has relics from the Reagan ranch, which the foundation restored and then brought artifacts into town. There is an informative video and several displays, including a piece of the Berlin wall. This museum is not nearly as extensive as a Presidential library, but... More

As a former docent here & now a frequent visitor when we are in SB, I urge you to visit this unique venue. You will have the very unusual opportunity to really get to know the real Ronsld Reagan as man going about life, even before he became President. It is so well curated with personal possessions brought down from... More

Great place to learn some of the historical personal insights of a great president and the ranch he loved. Its a free tour and can be self guided or you can do a partial guided as well. Recommend watching the 30 min video as well.

This is an incredible opportunity to get to learn who President Reagan was as a person. The Ranch Center offers has so much to offer. From learning how President Reagan lived, to becoming involved with monthly round tables with awesome speakers. It was a great visit. The docents were extremely friendly and were very knowledgeable on Ronald Reagan. A MUST... More

Unfortunately, we felt that the guides were pushing a political agenda. We visited the Reagan Library prior to this visit, and that was so interesting and educational, that we were very disappointed that this wasn't nonpartal, as was the Library.

This is a short tour that is worth taking the time to see. It is free and right on State Street. I enjoyed it.

We tried on 2 occasions to get here, but did not make it before closing until our last try. The tour guide we had made the most of the 30 minutes that we had before closing. The information was great and items on display very interesting. It was nice to learn more about the center itself and the Ranch which... More

Lots of nice snippets of Reagan history here, artifacts and memorabilia, too. You can walk with a docent or on your own. We chose on our own. We were both put off a bit by the docents, who all went a step being being helpful / to shadowing folks - and one gentleman docent actually had a very loud, booming... More

Very interesting regardless of your politics. I was trying to get photos and information to help an A Level History group. They were very obliging giving me postcards leaflets and allowing as many photos as I wished. You get an idea of the man and an insight into how his life pervaded his politics.

If you are a Republican and share the adoration of Ronald Reagan, you will no dout find something to enjoy in this center on lower State St., near the waterfront and train station.
