Wonderful Staff. Delicious Selections.

This was our first trip to Santa Barbara and the Funk Zone was a wonderful find. This place has a wide selection of wines from all over. As a home brewer I was delighted to find... read more

I like this place better than other tasting rooms because I get to taste wine from the entire state, not just one particular winery. They do feature specific regions from time to time, but that's what makes it so interesting--you never know what will be featured when you stop by. Overall, the wines that are offered have been vetted and... More

Cute place in the 'funk zone'. Our wine tasting selection was explained very well and they were patient as we asked further questions. Small quaint bar area, with small fireplace and seating area. We really enjoyed it.

When we mentioned that we thought the wine smelled like it was open too long, we were told apathetically that they were just opened yesterday and it must be that we just don't know that varietal. Since we love tempranillo, especially the Ribera del Duero region, it was surely not the case. He charged us $8, we left the glasses... More

Minimalist wine tasting room. Had a gas fireplace in it. Serves a variety of wines from all over the world. Wine tastings and beer flights available.

I enjoyed our tasting on the patio of this wine tasting room but the price seemed high - $15 for 3 small tastes. And they were delicious.

This was our first trip to Santa Barbara and the Funk Zone was a wonderful find. This place has a wide selection of wines from all over. As a home brewer I was delighted to find beer tasting as well. Meredith was a superb hostess and we had a nice long talk about our lives. They will put a sticker... More

The staff was not happy to see us, nor were we greeted upon entering. We were the only people there, so it's not as if they were busy. Between the two women there, we did not see one smile. We ordered our tasting and where promptly sent to the patio to consume the wine. We were not impressed with the... More

Good location and very nice facility. Lots of seating options. Wide selection of very good wines. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. The mascot dog is an added extra treat when there. Focus doesn't seem to be on local labels but that is OK, there is a very wide selection.

This is a small place in the middle of a fun area of Santa Barbara. Some unusual wines including a great Granache Blanc. Strange that a glass is $10 and they sell the bottle for $19.99! Corkage costs?
