Always something going on here. Sailboats, art fair, wine festivals, or just watching the dolphins and sea lions. We visit every year.

Nice beach and cool to just wander around - good restaurants in area as well so you can spend whole day

This is a beautiful walk with amazing views high above the ocean. You can spot surfers and dolphins playing in the ocean below from here and feels safe and romantic looking out as the sun is setting

Every review mentions that Shoreline Park is the perfect place for a picnic or for walking along the bluff overlooking the seashore, with that invigorating salty air, that great view down the coast, over the ocean and across to the Channel Islands, the BBQ grills...More

One of the best-kept secrets in Santa Barbara. It is a great place to walk, run, or have a picnic. There are steps down to the beach so you can get your feet wet. They also have bathrooms, grills and pretty good parking.

Shoreline Park is the best place to walk along the shore without sand in all of Santa Barbara. The views are spectacular. There are bathrooms and a playground.

We stopped and went for a walk along the path at the park. Lots of families, kids etc. You can venture down some stairs to a rocky beach. Very pretty views all around. Would be beautiful to go running on in the mornings.

This is a wonderful walk down Cabrillo. Each Sunday local artists have a showing of art, jewelry, crafts, pottery, etc. for sale. It is popular with locals and crowded. I recommend, if there, go!

Hello, Yes, there are a many places for just such an activity. Shoreline is a little louder and more of a picnic feel than other beach spots. So Shoreline is good if you want a place to BBQ and have a "party" kind of... More

I wish I knew the answer to that question. I have been there a few times and will go again as my family lives in that area I have always felt that it was just plain luck to see them but if I find out I will post it.
