The venues move from day to day, but the Saturday morning market downtown is the biggest and most varied. The market fills a large parking lot with perhaps 40 or 50 stations, all packed with locally grown flowers, plants and seasonal foods, many of them...More

You will have to be patient for a parking spot or find a spot on the street and walk to the Farmer's Market. Lots of colorful veggies and fab people watching. Bring your own bag, none are provided. You have to buy "coins/tokens" and then...More

Even now with many of the vendors handicapped by the closing of highway 101, the market continues to shine with numerous stands in place offering local, fresh and in many cases organic produce. To go to the market is an event for us locals with...More

Beautifully presented fresh, organic fruit, veges, flowers, nuts, honey, olive oil, meat, fish and cheese. Biggest juiciest blackberries and peaches I have ever seen! Bought a small selection for a picnic seeing as I am a visitor, loved the free samples and wandering around. Well...More

3 blocks of food and some flowers and nuts, cheese, honey, pies and bread. Pretty crowded on Tuesday 4-7:30 this month on state street. Street performers on the sidewalk. Plenty of dogs tagging along.

We loved the Farmers Market! Two long blocks closed off to cars, lined with stalls selling fresh and often organic produce. The vendors were often the farmers themselves who lived in the surrounding area; talking to them really gave us a taste of life in...More

It is tomato heaven right now. Whether perfect slicing tomatoes or "over ripe" reduced price for sauces, these are the best tomatoes in the country. Flowers are so lush right now. Cool Saturday mornings or cool Tuesday evenings. It is all good.

I was referring to the Saturday morning Downtown market. The Tuesday downtown market which is on State St is open 4-7:30 in the summer and 3 pm to 6:30pm in the winter.
