We were expecting the Hollywood Sign

What we got was an unbelievable city view. It overshadowed the sign. Parking is a bit rough but well worth the wait. Do your best to get out here.

What we got was an unbelievable city view. It overshadowed the sign. Parking is a bit rough but well worth the wait. Do your best to get out here.

This is a fabulous tour for a small price tag $10. You have a local expert volunteer take you to all the historic buildings/sites and you cover about 4-5 blocks. If you like walking tours and have a interest in history and architecture, this tour may be perfect for you. Amazing what one can learn from doing a walking tour… Downtown Santa Monica walking tour was just that..learned so much about the history of S.M. such as the original Rapp Salon(1875) on 2nd St. in front of the Hostel was also the Town Hall of S.M.; Bank of Italy (1929) on 3rd St. which became the B.
