Good collection of farm and ranching equipment specific to Ventura County of the Santa Clara Valley. The Museum hosts lectures and presentation from crop disease control to the history of the St. Francisco Dam (San Francisquito Canyon) Dam disaster of 1928, the second worse lost of life in California's history. Great for the kids, too.

I love taking visiting families to this museum. It is full of farm equipment, some of which children can sit on. Always fun to flash back and explain to kids how we or our families used to grow and/or make a living from agriculture. A live (and safe) bee hive inside the wall behind plexiglass. Dress up pioneer clothing, horse... More

Ventura County is the Agricultural powerhouse of Southern California and this nice little museum helps to put it all into perspective. Hard to imagine that so much produce and fruit is grown here until you learn about it. Great displays. Worth a visit. ...

This is an interesting enough museum. I'm not sure it's worth the price of admission, but if you have nothing better to do one day, it's "okay".

Ventura County has a long respected history as a farm county. The museum has an excellent collection of farm equipment and other exhibits that reflect farming and agricultural history of the County.

I visited an art exhibit at the Museum and ended up spending more time exploring the museum and all it has to offer than looking at the paintings. There are many interactive exhibits designed for children that are fun and educational. The living bee hive exhibit was great and I was especially interested in the blacksmith exhibit - because I'm... More

This is the latest addition to Santa Paula's collection of small specialty museums. Located adjacent to the new pedestrian walkway, it has plenty to say about agriculture in Ventura County.

I have taken groups of Road Scholars/Elderhostel people to the Ag Museum over the last several years and it always gets high marks. The staff and the exhibits are top notch.
