Excellent wines and a really nice venue. Raining when we were there, but did not deter our enjoyment of the winery. We were here a few years ago in the spring when the Lavender was in bloom. I think that that is the best time to visit. Rain or shine it is still worth making the drive to the winery.

We stopped here on a whim but we had a great time and ended up joining the wine club. We did the tasting with the food pairing since we had skipped dinner and it was decadent in flavor and well done! I wish I could remember the name of the woman who helped us because she was a total gem.... More

We went with club members and got treated to a wonderful experience! We tasted MANY wines and enjoyed the store and grounds. We hope to come sometime when the lavender is in bloom! Hard to find, but worth the trip!

Knowledgeable staff for wine tasting. Gorgeous view and great wine. We sat out on the deck with a glass of wine and brought our own picnic eats which was fine with the staff.

A trip to this winery gives you much more than a wine tasting experience although they do have several Wines that would meet your highest expectations. The lavender fields give me a very uplifting feeling every time I arrive! Totally one of my favs!

My wife and I had been here years ago and returned last week. It was our best experience in a week of visiting many wineries in the area. Our host, Kerie (sp?) was warm, extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area and wine making. We sat at a table and enjoyed a very creative and delicious pairing (kudos to... More

Really pretty here, nice patio and lavender gardens. You can bring a picnic and sit in the picnic area. Nice tasting inside and there is a little shop where you can buy various lavender products. Stop here to taste some wine!

...as you'll be glad you did. Traffic delayed our arrival into wine country, so with opening hours 'till 6.30pm Matanzas Creek was really our only choice for a 5pm tasting - we lucked out. With special thanks to concierge Steven at the Sonoma Doubletree for making sure it was open and for giving us a 2-4-1 voucher, we spent 90... More
