Annadel has several hiking, biking, riding trails to choose from. There are mostly sunny trails. Mostly shady trails. Some really rocky trails. Chances of seeing, coyote, deer, hawks, and more. We are so lucky to have this park in Santa Rosa.

This park is humongous, you can literally spend a full day hiking and never hit the same trail (other than a couple crossings). We have done hikes ranging from a couple miles to about 16. Beautiful views, nature, wildlife, summits and water. Visit Henry's Knob...More

The obsidian deposits in Annadel were highly utilized by the Wappo and Pomo Indians since prehistoric times. They fashioned the glasslike obsidian into points (arrowheads), choppers, scrapers, and other tools. Remnants of worked obsidian are abundant and will be found almost anywhere in the park....More

Nuthin, Annadel is a state park, and dogs are forbidden except on Channel rd Dr. I actually strayed from one of the trails and got PULLED OVER by the ranger who almost cited me. Sure enough you can see the no dogs allowed... More

No dogs allowed at annadel, even on leash...spring lake, which is a regional park, and much smaller,dogs are allowed (abuts up to annadel)
