We were in Santa Rosa for a week. Wanted to stay in an area that had restaurants, bars, and shops with some local flare. We were not disappointed. Easy to walk around and felt very safe. Offered not a large number, but a great variety of shops and restaurants. The visitor's center was very helpful and had maps of the... More

It's a great place to walk around in. The window displays in many of the shops change frequently, and they're usually pretty interesting. And there's Flying Goat, the best cafe in Santa Rosa.

Railroad Square is perhaps the best place for fun, food and shopping in Santa Rosa. A wonderful eclectic mix of shops and restaurants as well as the railway station where Hitchcock's "Shadow of a Doubt"t was filmed. You'll find upscale thrift stores, vintage clothing stores, antique stores, art shops, and even a hair salon. Food choices range from cafes to... More

Antiques, history, great restaurants! A good place to stroll, have a glass of fine wine, shop for antiques, people watch, and the new Smart Train will be coming through soon!! The train station is featured in several movies too, as this is a place where lots of movies have been filmed! PollyAnna, Shadow of a Doubt, Goonies, A Walk in... More

Really disappointed in this area! If you love resale shops this is the place for you! It has a few restaurants which was nice but not cute shops!

Looked for this place due to reviews. Expecting something like the Old Market in Omaha or the Rail Yard in Lincoln due to reviews but was disappointed. A few restaurants, a couple of bars but nothing great. Don't make a special trip.

It is soooo much fun to wander about the Railroad Square Historic District and find the many characters from the comic strip "Peanuts" greeting you in statue form. It's so nice that the folks have paid homage to Charles M. Schulz and his many years of work and residence in Santa Rosa.

This is a cool stretch of restaurants, brew pubs, sandwich, coffee and ice cream shops. We grabbed sandwiches here before our bike trip, then later cooled off with Bobo drinks. Came through a second day for a nice brew pub lunch.

This store offers many interesting items. I found a lovely old photo of an elaborate bride that I love, $15. I bought an old Finochios program, $10. Its a fun place for lower end 20th century american antiques.
