Absolutely beautiful. The wines were excellent. The guy doing the tasting was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot we didn't know about peak times to drink our wines and the wine making process. We spent a long visit there. Overall a great experience. Wines were a bit pricey though.

Went here for a wedding. The scenery was spectacular. You can see hillsides on many directions and of course lot of vineyards. We did get into the "caves" where they have winetasting (we went in at night for a private party). That looked interesting. We found the wines that were available to use to be so-so (pinot noir, grenache, and... More

Over the years, we have visited many wineries in the Santa Ynez valley. Sunstone quickly became a favorite with its multiple tasting areas and large green courtyard and picnic areas. The day we visited, there were families playing lawn games. The setting is reminiscent of Tuscany. In addition to tasting wines, each of our visits to Sunstone includes olive oil... More

What a wonderful place! Great wine served in cool, age old stone taverns, friendly staff (Thank you Elva!) that served my Party of 15 together with balsamin and olive oil. And there's wood fire pizza! The best outside Italy. Picturesque, great view, all around great place! Will DEFINITELY return and recommend for anyones group party!

Multiple choice tasting sites, some outdoors on the beautiful patios really help keep the "crowds" under control, making for a very relaxed experience. Knowledgable friendly staff like Ian make the experience that much more enjoyable. Love that they offer fire oven pizza on the weekends and some nice cheese trays for sale. Why don't more places offer simple food choices... More

Tom was amazing and had lots of great stories about the winery. Very knowledgable and made a great day even better! The Merlot and Eros was fabulous but even the white wines were good. Enjoyed walking around the winery where there was corn hole and a few other games to play. Great area to drink wine!

The setting is exactly what a winery ought to feel like and look like. They have buildings made of stone, rustic structures that look like they could be in Tuscany. The guides love their craft and love to host. I almost felt like I was in Europe except that the language was English! The wine was really good, surprising white... More

My wife and I have been club members for several years. They have a very good selection of good wines to choose from at very reasonable price. Bring a lunch a lunch and enjoy the wines out in the patio. Staff is always friendly and will definitely take care of you. One of the better wineries in the area for... More

Just left Sunstone. Loved the setting, the people, and the wines. We tasted outside which I preferred to being in the inside tasting spaces. It was much warmer outside but the ambiance made a big difference to the experience. Enjoy!

The setting is stunning right off the bat! The long drive through the vineyards, the lovely oaks, the picnic tables, the old villa... This was our first stop on a tour of 4 wineries in the lovely Los Olivos area of the Santa Ynez Valley. I think it was the prettiest of the wineries. The wine was lovely. There is... More
