Beautiful Japanese Gardens full of maples, wisteria, bamboo, and a nice Koi pond. Some call it small and some call it big I guess it's a matter of expectations of what an actual Japanese garden would look like. If you follow all of the trails there is some walking and hill climbing but it is worth it. The buildings are... More

Very nice place, although I had expected it to be a little bit bigger, but I blame that upon myself. Nice place to wonder around on a sunny day.

The koi fish are the ONLY interesting thing about this place. We walked the entire facility and was not impressed at all. BEWARE they charge you $2 for literally 1 small handful of fish food. I can contemplate my life a lot of better places and save the $10 each entrance fee.

This Japanese garden is nice but very small. Not much to see, not worth going out of your way for, which we did. Maybe worthwhile if you're already staying in Saratoga. I felt overcharged for the $10/person admittance.

This large Japanese Garden is tucked away in Saratoga on Hwy 9 done by a prominent landscape artist from Japan, It is large enough to hold events there.

We went on a weekday, it is like stepping back in time or going to another country. This garden is over 100 years old and very well maintained. It makes you want to sit on the benches along the trails and listen to the silence. Meditative. Tea plantation, buildings, rock garden, the waterfalls and the Koi are how I imagine... More

What a nice little Japan Garden. Such a great place to see and spend a great time with friends and family. It has also a Picnic Area and Restaurant on the side. Recommend to see this hidden gem to everybody!

This lovely, peaceful expanse provides a break from the hustle and bustle of the world. With its 18 acres of gardens, waterfalls, and ponds, it provides a wonderfully tranquil way to spend a few hours.

Did not know this place existed till I noticed it by chance while driving by. Have just been to the real Hakone near Tokyo (beautiful place BTW and worth the visit) the name of these gardens got my attention. So did a bit of research online and it happens that Hakone Gardens in Saratoga are the oldest Japanese Gardens in... More
