Was recommended to try this place and we were a little disappointed. $18 for a wine tasting was too pricy for wine that we felt was just ok. Wine is subjective, of course, but we were not impressed. The Rose was nice, but all the...More

We've been wine club members for years now and Big Basin Vineyards continues to produce excellent wines. Also should note that they are now doing tastings at the winery in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Now visitors can taste their wines in cute downtown Saratoga or...More

If you are in the area, this is certainly a place worth visiting. The tasting room is a bit on the small side, but the wines are worth waiting for. For deep reds, the 2013 Grizzly was one of my favorites. There are also a...More

A great way to relax and enjoy the local wine. Quiet setting in the village of Saratoga. next to another tasting room and as such they do have live music which adds to the ambiance.

This is a small tasting room in downtown Saratoga. The wines are really top shelf. The man who waited on us was very knowledgeable about the wine and the area.

The tasting room lacks a little ambience on the inside, but that is made up for by the amazing wines here. Bradley Brown is one of the top winemakers in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and he isn't afraid to take chances. Though his specialty is...More

We visited here while in the area, and tried the flight of 5 pours. Didn't like any of them, can't believe people would actually buy a bottle of it or even drink a full glass. That being said, we usually don't drink pinot noirs or...More

While wine appreciation is subjective, we're disappointed someone who says they don't drink the two varietals we were pouring would 'review' them - and no mention of the customer experience or atmosphere. We would like to point to professional reviews of our Syrah and Pinots...More
