This museum is a great place to take your kids 8 months to 7yrs old. It's one of the best Children's museum. You can easily spend the whole day here. I would also pack a lunch so you can have a picnic there. The views of the golden gate bridge is absolutely beautiful and you don't have the fight the... More

Our grandchildren loved this outdoor play space. They climbed, dug in the dirt, explored the paths, and rang the bell! We had perfect weather. This is not a rainy day destination. The snack shop has a nice variety of offerings.

When researching things to do in Bay Area with 6 year old this seemed to be one of the highest rated attractions. I absolutely Agree! Pre-school to maybe 10 years will love It! And view looking south towards San Francisco is great also. Lunch / snack was good quality, and not expensive for a big city.

My son enjoyed playing, exploring, and running around in the Tot Spot. It gave him a chance to interact with other children his age as well as play independently. There is a lot of hands on things for children of various ages. We walked by the other sections which included art labs, Keva plants, outdoor play/climing structure, Rainforest Adventure exhibit... We spent about 4 hours here with our 3 and 4 year old. There were several hands on activities to choose from and spaces to explore. Our kiddos insisted we take the projects they made home in our suitcase. They would have happily spent more time, but we wanted to return to San Jose without traffic. If you are a... More

The museum was interesting and complimented our historical tour around San Francisco. The location is also excellent for taking in different views of the Gold Gate Bridge, Angel Island and the bay area

This is a special place for younger children. It is filled with hands-on exhibits that kids can explore. Fine for toddlers. Much of the things to do are outside so it is a much better experience in good weather. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. You can bring your own snacks and food or partake of the limited but healthy... More

We bought a groupon for my husband, me and my 3 and 1 year-old. The museum is right in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. Beautiful and gorgeous views of the bridge in the parking lot. The place is not a traditional museum - lots of outdoor walking. Bring layers or you and your children will be inappropriately clothed and... More

Reading some of the reviews I would have thought otherwise but we had a great time with our grandchildren aged 6 & 4. Sure there were toys and interactive areas that weren't anything special but there were many areas that were fun and unique. BIG BLOCKS and building areas for one. Musical equipment throughout the area. Awesome outdoor play sculptures... More
