I usually have a very limited attention span for this type of thing but I could have sat and watched this guy for hours. He's amazing. No pushing for money either. Stop and appreciate his work if you get a chance.

Easy to find and free, this unique spot in Sausalito is photogenic and fun. Just walk down the street where all the action is near the water and you're sure to find it.

I didn't realize that this is a regular Sausalito site (event?). We were walking by on the waterfront and a guy was balancing rocks. As he had a camera - and the bay and San Francisco were in the distance - he seemed to be a photographer setting up an intriguing scene. It made for a fun photo-op; reminded me... More

We watched this man stack/balance rocks along the shore as we ate breakfast across the street. At first, I thought he just happened by and stacked some, but then realized he was entertaining folks walking by and continued to build and build little balancing rock sculptures. It was really fascinating to watch him work and see what he created. I... More

We were staying in Sausalito and literally stumbled upon them off the edge of the waterfront. No description would do this site justice. It's remarkable. Don't misunderstand, this is not a destination type attraction, but if you are out walking around, look for them.

My husband & I went for brunch in Sausalito and were looking for something to do after. I found this activity listed under "things to do" and thought we'd check it out. Firstly, from the description, it was very hard to figure out where to go, but after asking lots of locals & looking at the posted photos we figured... More

As you walk along the waterfront there is much to see and no matter where you are, you always have an awesome view of the bay. A great place to relax and take it all in. The best part, it is rarely crowded so there is plenty of room to leisurely walk and enjoy it all.

I'm not sure what to say. There are rocks balanced precariously on top of one another here along the walkway. They're worth a look, but what else are you going to do? Maybe snap a quick pick since it's interesting for a minute. Then you pass it by and go to a restaurant or shop or look at the view... More

This guy is AMAZING!! How he came up with this I'll never know, but I love the fact that he works on the rocky shoreline (in Sausalito near the main walkway), where no one else could do what he does, and he just builds his own world of balanced stones!!! You won't even believe it could be possible. He doesn't... More

It was amazing to see the balancing rocks. This is right around the Main Street. There is no charge. This is a great photo opt.
