This beach had black sand and beautiful green, red and amber pebbles scattered around. Watching the wild Pacific waves crash against the rocks was an awesome way to see the left coast for the first time. It's not a beach for sunbathing really, but it...More

We started off the coastal trail at Rodeo Beach. It’s such a pretty beach and a great place to visit. The water is so blue and clear.

This beach is great for hiking with sand between your toes, watching surf pounding in from Rodeo Lagoon, looking at big rocks covered with what sea gulls cover big rocks with, or just sitting in the sand looking at the ocean and feeling the stress...More

A great trip along the ocean high above the waves. Take your time and stop a few times at different view points as you go. Look for special spots to hike down to the waters below.

This place is absolutely amazing. You can walk up the hills and see the ocean from a vantage point. The sunset is breathtaking. Be aware that you can end up in a huge traffic jam coming back home. That's because there's a single line tunnel...More

Rodeo beach was awesome. The black sand was so marvelous I had to take some home. All the colored pebbles that make it up were very artistically inspiring to me. We hiked up the trail and looked down on the surfers hitting the waves. The...More
