I'm a 7 handicap and loved this track. Used every club in my bag and the conditions were fantastic. Grabbed the golf now hot deal for $50. Totally worth it and a no brainier.

Staying in Carmel, Ca. there are lots of great courses. Most of which are very expensive and not worth the money. We played both courses which were under 100 bucks each. Both were great with lots of undulation with nice greens. Greens were a bit slow but in good shape (probably 9/9.5 speed). From the back tees it is a... More

First I'll start with pricing for this course is insane for being an ncga member. The price is fine for only that member, bring your spouse add on 140 plus 20 each for the cart. To make matters worse they charge for three year olds to play the 30 shots they'll hit. Moving past price, range balls aren't normally included... More

Our "Dine Out Senior"s group went there last week and we had delicious appetizers of six or seven choices for $6 and $7. Our drinks were discounted at $5. We had a lovely view of Monterey Bay and golfers at play on the green. A pleasant attraction was the musician who played easy listening music. We certainly plan to return... More

Bayonet is a very enjoyable golf course. On our most recent visit the fairways were a little spotty due to water restrictions; but the layout and variety in the golf holes is worth the visit. The back nine is difficult to score on.... many challenging greens with subtle breaks. The view from the clubhouse and many of the golf holes... More

These are excellent courses with difficulty on every shot. I will admit that I lost more balls here than any other course. The scenery is amazing and would be worth a few hours walking and gazing without the golf.

I played the Black horse, I could not rate it 5 without playing the bayonet side. Black horse haste several different tees so take your pick. It is an older style course but I love the older courses. You must pay attention to your distances and where you want to miss it. The course is extremely fair, but it will... More

Home of the2012 Senior PGA Championship, these two gems are found on the old Fort Ord army base. Terrific layout, with different t-boxes allowing different handicaps a chance at success. Area has had a bunch of rain and some high winds, which have caused some tree damage and caused some standing water. Even so, I will be back soon- it... More

This two golf courses are in one location and both has been renovated in the last year and a half. Both are pretty hard courses but are really nice to play. The view from both courses are unbelievable. They are on the formal Fort Ord on the Monterey bay. You get a full view of the bay from several holes... More
