This is a lovely place to visit. Even if it's only a few blocks filled with things to do, it's definitely worth a visit. A few cook (but expensive) boutique stores around and a few specialty galleries that are worth browsing around in. Some are only by appointment so make sure you do that first. To be honest, I wish... The street has become a bad destination in the last year. A very commercial street with few restaurants that serve low quality food and bad stores with poor quality merchandize The only unique and international stores are disappearing and street is misnamed as a design district. The beautiful garden store has left, the a couple of cosmopolitan stores that are... More

Great street to shop, get coffee, eat and go to the famous Belly Up Tavern. Leaping Lotus is fun to explore for fun shopping items and Antique Warehouse is great too. Great shoes and clothes at Cedros soles (and other places too) and Adventure 16 for gear. Lofty Coffee is great for a snack and of course coffee. Dinner at... More

This is the design district of Solana Beach. Near the coaster train station and this is the district for high end shopping and entertainment, with the Belly up music and food venue on the street.

We stopped in the Cedros Design District just at the end of the Farmer's Market. The Jamaican food stand in the Farmer's Market was incredible and authentic. We also enjoyed the variety of shops on Cedros Avenue--clothing boutiques, antiques, and the Adventure 16 store for camping tips and supplies.

The Cedros Design Area consists of a few blocks chock full of furniture stores, Art Galleries, specialty boutiques, Kitchen and Bath store, Houseware stores, Perfume shops, antiques, along with restaurants and entertainment venues. The range is from low to high, but it's all good. I just finished remodeling my entire home for one year, and I spent many a day... More
