This is an interesting museum and a short walk from downtown. We talked to a volunteer who was making lace, saw a kitchen with cabinets painted with flowers, saw other historical displays of Solvang.

This small efficient museum does what it purports to do-- tell the story of Solvang. There are only about 5 rooms to walk through, but by doing so one comes to understand why Danish immigrants would leave Denmark in large numbers and how the Central...More

Everything inside here are ORIGINAL. They have here collections of histories and arts and Danish cultures of Solvang. They also have a super tiny museum store that have something for all ages.

A fairly new and culturally interesting museum about the relatively new town of Solvang and the immigrants from Denmark who started it a little over 100 years ago. Situated in what could be an old farmhouse from Denmark.
