Nestled along the side of gorgeous countryside with a touch of Greek history for good measure, this was a treat to wine culture education as well as a treat to the palate for this Chardonnay lover. Oak and stainless fans welcome here, and the award winning Pinot Noir is not to be missed! Enjoy the scenic view while sipping a... More

The Nicholson Winery was a nice place and the views were outstanding. I liked that it sits up on a hill and the wine cave in underneath - that is awesome. I enjoy smaller boutique wineries because the staff share their passion for the wine and our host was that guy. He shared his thoughts on wine in general and... More

Obviously a lot of money has been spent on the wine tasting area, it's just a pity the wine and the knowledge of the staff didn't match up to the facade. $20 /head for wine tasting is pretty steep and for the quality of the wine this was definitely the worst value of any vineyard we visited. Charming owner.

We had a very thorough tour through the property, in the caves and in two pretty cool tasting spots down in the cave. I couldn't tell at first if our guide was disinterested or unamused by our group, but he finally loosened up and really grew on me. He really shared a lot of cool information about how NR makes... I visited this vineyard in December with a group of friends from Ireland and South Africa. One of the workers refused to take my valid irish driving license as ID claiming it was a piece of paper that he couldn't accept. I also proceeded to ask him would he accept my scanned passport to which he said no. It was... More

So, it was the end of the day & we were ready to head back to our resort, but our driver suggested we try Nicholson Ranch. We're so glad that we did! We were welcomed by Raymond, selected our tastings package, & from that point on....we just "clicked". Raymond was very pleasant, informative, funny, I could go on. It was... More

Wonderful property for wine tasting with a lot of beautiful spots to enjoy the scenery. Tastings are $30 each, but the wine is good and the staff are very nice.
