Not that many older burials and many of the headstones are very hard to read. Nice hillside walk and several runners and walkers where there the morning I visited. Uneven roadways/paths so wear good walking shoes and be careful of tree roots

Interesting, peaceful and a workout as well. Fun to see all the headstones from long ago. Some famous historical figures among them. You can access the directory map on your phone. Small parking area at gate entry.

This cemetery is a hard work out while you read the names and dates on the stones. Walk or run up and down the hills! Names from the past which we see around our town.

Nicholas Carriger came over the Sierras about a month before the Donners and made his home (mansion) here. He and his wife who also made the trek are buried here.

Eyes of the beholder location. Well worth walk as roads are City owned and they go all over the hillside. Great walk with views and history.

This cemetery has some very old gravestones. You can drive part way but it does get steep. Walking would be a better way to look around. There is a walking trail you can take right off the cemetery. It is so amazing to see the...More

An interesting and relaxing activity! A lot of old graves and wonderful above ground crypts. The cool morning air makes it refreshing too.

This local cemetery has headstones going back many many years. I always find it fun to wander around in an old cemetery wondering about the lives of the people buried there and what the town was like when they lived. This site is great for...More
