This is a serene area. We ate at the Athenian Grill which has outdoor seating which overlooks the marina. Very tranquil spot.

After a full day of wine tasting my friend and I stayed at a hotel in Fairfield. They recommended to eat in this area. After dinner we walked this area and it was a very nice to get some exercise.

The marina and water front are great for walking. You can also rent a kayak or paddle board. It's not far out the slough to more open water. There is usually a breeze and a good view of Montezuma hills and Mt. Diablo.
