This spot is a must see along the SW edge of Lake Tahoe. There’s limited parking spots so try to be early or off season.

Went here on a recent trip and really enjoyed the views from the top of the trail. The hike was pretty mild and so the activity was good for all ages.

Parking can be difficult but often there are spaces available across the street near bay view campground. There is a short paved trail to the overlook of Emerald Bay, one of the most beautiful views of Lake Tahoe.

We parked before the gates. Looks like less visited. You to walk less than 1 mile. But the view is great. Have portable restrooms.

This is one of the most impressive scenic sites in all of the Lake Tahoe area. If you go anywhere go here and behold this!

I think my title says it all! As others have said it does get crowded but it was not unmanageable when we were there (parked across the street). We stayed about 10 minutes taking pictures. Easy drive to get there and well worth the time.

It is absolutely gorgeous here. I would make a point to drive there if you are in the South Lake Tahoe area. Many of the scenic beaches and stops are closed right now due to the winter season, but this has different viewing points that...More
