We were looking for a small, family owned vineyard who produced their own wine, and we stumbled upon Palumbos'. This place was FANTASTIC! We met one of the sons of the owners and he was as nice as could be. Also, the lady pouring the wine with the son was also beyond nice. They had a cute little tasting room... More

This winery is great for red wines. They have some of the best in the valley and they are off the main road which makes it a great atmosphere and never over crowded. They have a nice view and tables that you can sit at outside and have a picnic while enjoying the wine. This is one of my favorite... More

The son was doing the tasting room when we were there and he was very nice. The other people there were locals, so that was a good sign. You can bring a picnic and eat at their patio. Our favorite was the Bella Vigna Sangiovese. We did not buy any wines here because we like bolder reds, but I would... More

If you're coming for the party stick to the "big box" wineries. If you're coming for the wine then this should be your next stop. Nestled off the trodden path, this family operated yet well crafted winery is almost 100% estate grapes. In the oft overlooked Temecula wine country these guys are players in quality wine production. My favorite varietal... More

Our first visit to Palumbo. The staff here are welcoming and unpretentious and they did not mind that we had children with us. One of the owner's sons gave us a very interesting tour of their winery as he shared the story of this family run winery and showed us how he is involved in making their wines. You can... More

We went to Palumbo Family Vineyards on a recommendation from another winery that we visited. Top 5 of the 20 we visited over our time in Temecula! Tasting Fee $15 for 5 wines (their entire current lineup) '14 Grenache Blanc - solid white with 91 points from Wine Entusiast $28 was a little steep '12 Due Rossi - Super Tuscan... More

Temecula is a unique locale for wine tasting. It is unlike every other wine tasting area in California. It’s closeness to San Diego makes it more than a tasting destination. It makes it partly a "bachelorette get as drunk as you can" destination. If you want good Yelp reviews, just serve margaritas and have Drake playing. I have no problem... More

OK, now it's not a secret anymore, but Palumbo is the only winery we kept our club membership through thick and thin. They were one of the first to concentrate on quality, full bodied red wines, and are family owned & operated. They luckily do not allow bus loads of people, so usually a pretty quiet atmosphere.

My family has been coming to Palumbo for years. It's been really great watching them grow. They are a boutique winery, and in my opinion one of the best. Top notch in every aspect. Their property is awesome. You can bring your own food and enjoy a bottle at one of their tables overlooking Temecula's valleys and watch the sunset.... More

The venue is absolutely beautiful! We visited in early May. Even though it was a rainy day, this place did not disappoint. The wine is amazing, there's a waiting list to join the wine club (that should tell you something) The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, they took exceptional care of our group. Definitely will keep this on our... More
