First time here and they were very welcoming. The wine was great and the staff knowledgeable. There is a long and interesting history. They offer barrel tasting but you need to set up ahead of time. Definitely look into that if it is of interest. The winemaker sounds very interesting.

Rotta Winery is one of the oldest wineries in the area, established in 1908. The staff was excellent, giving an overview of the wineries history. They have a collection of old bottles that were used in the distant years by customers. The grounds have whale bone fossils from when the area was covered in water.

Wine is pretty good. Have been multiple times. Really go for the space and the games they have. My sisters has three kids, so they can run around, go on the swings, and play some games. Staff has been helpful and nice every time. Even when they were tasting up at their main tasting room, but they didn't have any... More

We stopped here for our first winery visit as we drove through the Paso Robles region. What attracted me was the age of the winery - it seemed to be older than the others around it. We arrived early on a Friday so the tasting room was empty when we got there. The young lady working there, Sherona , was... More

Rotta Winery was our first stop in Paso for wine tasting. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The wine was delicious, well worth the tasting fee. The property itself is very cute, with spectacular views. We visited during the week but heard the weekends are packed with lawn games, events, etc. Rotta is a definite recommendation for wine lovers!

We took a wine tour, and this was our 2nd stop. We were guided through a nice variety of wines half way through our tasting a huge group arrived our hostess did a great job of still making us feel special. My husband a self proclaimed "wine wimp" enjoyed the ports, and we bought a couple of bottles. I also... More

We had driven for four hours and had stopped at a brewery and a winery before this place. We were looking for something quiet where we could enjoy a couple tastes of wine and unwind. (both places before were too crowded.) We are so glad to stumble upon Rotta! Upon arrival we felt so at home and welcomed. It was... More

We visited around noon on a Sunday. We had a toddler and our dog in tow and someone greeted us right away, and invited us inside even with the dog since it was so hot outside and they weren't yet that busy. We were down in the lower part of the property (their event space vs. the usual tasting room)... More

Beautiful setting, great history and a staff that knows their stuff. We had a great tasting here and ended up leaving with a few bottles. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Wines are good and it is not too pricey. Purchase two bottles and tastings fees are waived. It is one of the oldest wineries (100+ years old).
