A devilish Jack Nicklaus design, this Sierra course should be played if in the area. 4 sets of tees, but Jack has designed this where you can find trouble from 7200 to 5500 yards. Set in the Pines of the Sierra there is slope, multi-tiered...More

Jack Nicklaus designed course with 4 sets of tees. The ball flies farther in the mountains and ample fairways provide great landing zones. But Jack made approached and greens where you will earn your score. Fantastic scenery with the closing holes looking across the Truckee...More

We had 12 guys play there Saturday. Our first tee time was 11:10. We were told they were running late due to a tournament and we would get out at 11:25. We finally got the first group out at 11:35. Play was so slow (65...More

Greens were true, a little tricky but consistent. Great practice area prior to the round. Fairways are tree lined but deceptively wide. Overall fun to play but expensive.

This is a high end golf course in a fabulous setting. The fairways are well kept as well as the greens. For me, it seems the architect went out of his way to make it more difficult with numerous sand traps on what seemed like...More

Good course; but, pace of play is slow and $6. For a can of beer is a rip! C'mon, we may be captive; but, that is over the top!

Wow. How can such a great course have some poor managment/service. We played Gray's Crossing the same week (few miles apart) and they treated everyone like they were members. Old Greenwood treated you like you were an inconvenience. Need a new manager to change the...More
