the best place for dive

The shape of this rock looks some strange. It is harf for me to demonstrate. But I dived there. I have to say this place is most suitable for dive absolutely.

I always love to dive at Elephant Head Rock. You feel like you are floating in mountains. Big stones welcome you that you are so small on the earth.

Another site subject to underwater overcrowding. See reviews of Tachie & SIMILAN Islands. National park seem more interested in checking everyone has a ticket rather than restricting the passes to preserve the reefs and wildlife.

Elephant Head Rock is a great diving area, but there can be a lot of current, so if you are really a beginner maybe not that great. Depth goes to around max 35 meter.

Great dive site. both for marine life and interesting diving with all the swim throughs. One of the few dives in the islands where we saw a shark (white tipped reef shark).

I saw that rock at my similan tour. That is a good view. It is amazing because its really look like an elephant and not human made.

Not the "greatest" but it is excellent. It suffers from being so close to so many other INCREDIBLE sites. But the terrain and diversity is beautiful and is a very worth while dive.

Actually it is a group of huge underwater boulders partially visible above water making impression of an elephant working in the water. Really interesting scenery.

We did a dive at Elephant Head rock on a particularly strong current day during a dive liveaboard trip and it was a bit like being in a washing machine! The dive itself was great, but the currents were strong and the granite substrate was enough to grind you to a pulp if you were not very careful with your... More
