We stopped at Nelson Family vineyards while driving south to Napa. They have a scenic area outside with a small grouping of redwoods that overlooks their vineyard. Their wine list spans sparkling brut to cabs, offering something for everyone.
Stopped here and loved the wines- so I joined the wine club! Can’t wait to attend their events. Try the Pinot Noir and Petit Verdot- they are both excellent. Friendly staff- we had an enjoyable time. Don’t miss the redwood grove on the property- just...More

Very beautiful and comfortable place to visit and taste some great wines. The workers are friendly and knowledgeable. It's kid friendly if you really want to share this piece of heaven with your little buddy.
Experience at the tasting room was really nice. The grounds are very nice an the staff was very nice as well, The value of the wines was fair, Unfortunately, the wines were nothing to right home about.
Driving the PCH, Route 101, from Seattle to San Francisco stopping along the way at anything that peaks our interest, we were delightfully pleased at finding Nelson Family Vineyards and thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the grounds and vineyards surrounding the Nelson Family.
