This is a great place to see birds, wildflowers, small animals and even turtles. A walk around the lagoon is flat and easy yet very enjoyable. There are also trails which go up into the hills with nice views for the individuals who want a little more strenuous exercise. These hilly trails offer a great selection of wildflowers, particularly in... More

I used to love Lagoon Lake and walked daily with my dog. Now, many dog owners are not responsible. They do not pick up after their dogs, and refuse to put out-of control and aggressive dogs on lead. It is too risky to take a small or medium sized dog to this park.

This is a great park which offers many amenities. Great hiking on hills or flat land, multiple picnic areas, bbq's, and tables, mountain biking trails, dog park, Frisbee golf course, small pond, also a good place to horseback ride. There is a small playground for kids. Lots of open space. I believe its only $3.00 entrance fee.

Great place to go biking with young children on the paved and unpaved roads. Also a great place for running and walking your dog.

This is not your typical park with swings and slides and all that. This is a place to go if you want to get away from it all! When the lagoon is filled with water, you can take a great stroll around the lake. If you want to get the best view ever take a hike up one of the... More

I enjoy coming out here for a peaceful walk. The view is nice, there are fun critters out there, and from time to time you'll encounter someone on horseback. The only issue I have is with the people who visit...they litter and trash the park. There are also some sketchy characters out there, so I wouldn't recommend going out there... More

I usually hike in this mountain after work which is in the morning. I work nights and walking up the mountain after work helps me relax. when I get home, I am beat and ready to hit the sack.

We have been going to lagoon valley for about 25 years. We used to run the trails (about 10 miles worth) when we were getting ready for our next mountain climb. It's a great place to just kick back or if you run the hills you can turn it into an awesome workout. I think you have to reserve the... More
