The island is great to explore and hike around, there is also a golf place and a wine tasting place. I like hiking at the Preserve area, the people is very nice and you have a great view.

Beautiful tails and view of San Pablo Bay. Great for the family, could be windy so be prepared. Bring a snack/water and enjoy a nice hike.

Many things happening on Mare Island it's awesome to have this available 10 minutes from home. Lots of walking trails, interesting sights, fun art studios, and even a winery! Wonderful place to hang out by the water. Great views.

The Sardine Can and Zio Fraedo on the waterfront are close to the bridge to Mare Island. Napoli is on Tennesee St. a short distance from the Mare Island bridge.
