Wonderful locatin, we saw Shakespear's "A Midsummer Night's Dream: performed in modern English in a Country western setting. The performers seemed to be local people, & so their performances were not San Francisco standards, but we loved it. The town of Volcano is a little...More

The town of Volcano is charming and relaxing. The venue is beautiful, well cared for, organized and an overall perfect way to spend your evening. Surprisingly outstanding performances by the amateur cast, I even hate to call them that because they were so good. We...More

Saw it was nearby so went. I dig local theatre. The cast was quite good. The setting was awesome...outdoors under the sky. Gates open at 630 so you can picnic before the 8pm start time. Really glad we went..

This is outdoor plays at their best! Sitting by Sutter Creek and watching their plays are great! The actors look professional and greet you when leaving. Bring a picnic lunch with you and enjoy.

Great place to picnic, sit on the grass or arranged seats and enjoy local theater productions with heart. You can just arrive and buy tickets. Volcano is a cute old gold rush town from the mid nineteenth century.

This is definitely amateur community theater. Most recently,we saw their performance of "Robin Hood". The cast tried hard, but fell short.

These players do one of the best acting jobs I've seen for a small theater group. The outdoor seating makes for a fantastic atmosphere and BRING a picnic meal with you! Makes for an even better time. Will definitely go again!!!
