Great place and atmosphere expensive drinks but no more so than the rest of LA bar staff upstairs rude if you don’t tip on top of the $11 a pint but otherwise had an enjoyable night with some good music.

Fun night at the Whiskey. FanHalen was great and the opening bands were also entertaining. We were there for a few hours, we enjoyed food, drinks and bought T-shirts as souvenirs. History and a fun night rolled into one.

This review is more about the venue than the performances. My buddy and I went there to see Stryper with opening bands "Shroud", "Seventh Servant" and " Fear Not" in that order. All the bands were Christian music and each was better than the previous.
Valet parking directly behind the building was $25.00 (it was a Tuesday) a block away, self park was $20.00. We had tickets to a second row table upstairs that seats two for $200.00. It was well worth the cost to have a seat, however, the view was partially blocked by the railing. I would not hesitate in getting a front row table, that sits right up against the rail for $300.00 for two, also upstairs. The second row tables have bar stools that are fatiguing after a while while the frond row seats have backs. These prices vary according to the event I am sure. There was a wheelchair upstairs but I would call before buying tickets to ask if there is an elevator. If there is, it's hidden.
When you arrive, go upstairs and find the table with your name on it, they are assigned (according to when tickets are bought I assume). There were no waitresses visiting tables, if you want to order go to the bar. There is also food available, burgers, fries, chicken strips, and finger appetizers about a dozen items, see website for full menu. I can't comment on the quality of the food, club soda was $5.00. The bathroom was clean and freshly remodeled, with three urinals and one toilet in the men's room and one sink (no CBGB restroom here). No complaints about the sound quality. The first band started within minutes of start time. Stryper started at about 10:00 and finished at about 11:45, with no encore. Kids are welcome at this venue.
Overall it was a fine experience.

Went to Steel Panther show to tick off one of my bucket list items to go to this venue. Was smaller than I expected but atmosphere was fantastic and sound was really good

Had the wonderful opportunity to enjoy live music at this venue. There were two cover bands and the second band was definitely very good. The bar kept us well-hydrated.
Overall, good experience and will definitely return for more memories.

Showed up at 7:30 pm to see three bands and ended up seeing 5! It was fun as the bands progressed to the final two. Loved Manic (young guys from San Diego), and Aerosmyÿthe and the final Hollywood Roses! The staff are fantastic and very professional. As the crowd thinned they let us sit at the booths and we stayed right too the end. Uber to my hotel and had one of my best sleeps yet according to my Fitbit. Wish this bar was around the corner from me to go to every weekend :)

Was so excited to be at the Whiskey a GoGo to see a local band make their debut there. The greats have played there and you can almost feel there presence. Reverend Jack killed their set and the ghost of the greats applauded.

Hola, necesitarÃa saber cual es la forma más rápida y económica para ir desde Hollywood al Whisky a go go y en general toda la zona de clubs bares y sales como el Roxy, el Troubadour y el Rainbow. Queda alguna parada de metro cerca?

To get a VIP booth, you indicated it was 100.00. Who and how do you reserve this when you arrive
For a 7PM door opens, when should we get in Line
Thanks

Reserve VIP tickets online, easy. There are only like 4 booths down stairs. They seat 4 people comfortably and are raised a bit to let you see the stage over standing room people. You can reserve two seats or all four booth seats. The show we saw offered a 100.00 bar tab with the reserved table for four. That was nice. Don't forget the upstairs balcony tables, cheaper and a great view, just not as comfortable as those cool red leather booths.

I believe the seating is VIP only, handful of booths.
Small place. And we stood for a few hours, had to keep shifting my weight back and forth.
