We live in the Windsor area and we really enjoy hiking in the hills about Windsor. There are little lakes, wildlife, and native terrain. My grandson recently found an arrowhead on a family hike. This is a favorite place to hike and explore.
Pleasant, largely flat walk. Although a portion of the hiking trail had been washed out, and needs to be rebuilt, or a small bridge erected. Caused us to walk up and down a small hill that had no real trail path.

We loved that this was a 5 minute drive from the Hampton inn in Windsor as our front desk recommended it. Trails were dusty and there were lots of people but free street parking was available and it was a good workout.
