    A Very Pleasent Surprise
I was very much surprised. My wife and I just visited the Nixon Library and we both felt that it was a very good experience. The displays were well laid out and the presentation gave a very good insight into Nixon the man. There was no skimming over the Watergate scandal, but there was a great amount of good that Nixon accomplished both domestically and overseas. The grounds include the house that he was raised in and it is open to visitors. The docents were all very friendly and knowledgeable. As I wrote in my review of the Regan Library, this was definitely the better of the two.

A wealth of information about Nixon the man as well as his presidency, watergate…
The museum provided a wealth of information (through video, audio and visual exhibits) about the aspects of his presidency (foreign and domestic), his life prior to becoming president. The docents were very friendly and provided additional background as well. I enjoyed the museum and am glad I visited as Nixon’s administration was before my time. I learned a lot.

Excellent Remodeled and Improved Nixon Libary
The Nixon Library has been redone (completely) since I was there in 2016. It's much better--it's interactive, flows smoothly, and is utterly fascinating. It's a large complex, but worth every inch of it. Even if you've been before, it is worth another visit to see new displays and the way they've remodeled it. It's now among the best-designed of the presidential libraries.

    President Nixon life in Whittier
Paul Carter is one of the best tour guides I have ever had. He is very knowledgeable about Richard Nixon. The route was interesting. My husband live Whittier but learned many facts and places we didn't know.

Beautiful Museum & a Lovely First Lady's Garden
Very nice museum. Easily accessible. There is a replica of the Oval Office. There is campaign memorabilia, displays about traveling to China (which was a world-changing event at the time), and displays about Watergate. The museum also featured a limited-run exhibit, titled "Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief's Tribute to America's Warriors," showed some of President George W. Bush's paintings of wounded warriors. The First Lady's Garden was in full bloom. There are 2,500 roses, water features, and plenty of other types of flowers in the garden. It's a very peaceful and serene garden. It is spectacular and the fragrance was lovely.

We visited with some doubts given Nixon's history and reputation. First, this museum is remarkably objective; second, the early videos and films introduce Watergate early and objectively; if you stand back and review Nixon's domestic achievements it is clear that today he would not be a Republican - he was an inveterate environmentalist - think OSHA, clean water and air laws, etc.
The property for the museum was actually the site of his childhood family home. It has been restored and remains a fascinating look back at early 20th century life.

We came not really knowing the background of Richard Nixon , only what we remembered from Watergate. He was an incredibly thoughtful and intelligent man. The museum hits all points of his life and does a good job going through the people and history associated with Watergate.

Richard M. Nixon is a much under estimated man. His cover-up of the Wastergate burglars destroyed his presidency. Many people still can't work out whaat the fuss was about. This library and museum has many fascinating exhibits, including his childhood home -- a kit home. If you are in the area, this library is certainly worth a visit. If you need any guidance, the docents wikll be happy to help. If you have any questions, they have heard them all before.

We love visiting Presidential Libraries and this one was had a lot of great history to relive. Unfortunately Nixon will always be remembered for Watergate (and it's ironic that what he did pales in comparison to the crazy things going on today), but this museum truly highlights what a great president he was. His foreign affair policies and the creation of the EPA were just two of his lasting legacies. It's fun seeing his childhood home right on the grounds.

This was a very interesting and informative Presidential library. They did not pull any punches about Watergate. However, I was impressed by all of the positive things he accomplished over his life. Definetely, start with the movie. It was very interesting. The museum had many artifacts on display. The grounds were beautiful and the cemetery we he and Pat are buried was very peaceful. His boyhood home is on the site and is filled with mostly original items. The Marine One helicopter was very interesting, as well. Top notch library!

This is such a beautiful presidential library!! The watergate tapes are fascinating, but the gowns worn by the First Lady are breath taking. What a unique piece of history that is highlighted here. I recommend kids and teens alike to learn and observe!

The Whitney to White House Bus Tour was cancelled several days prior to the intended date and time due to " less than 20" reservations. For real, what about those individuals who make a decision closer to their visit date. I received an e-mail notification of a refund which I have yet to receive.

Presidential Libraries are done with the perspective and influence of the President. As such, I anticipated that (like the Clinton library skimmed over the Lewinsky matters) there would be just a cursory overview of Watergate. To the credit of those involved in designing this amazing piece of history, the library confronts this important piece of history head-on. The library is designed in three significant sections, one a look at the presidency and accomplishments (EPA, War on Cancer, Title IX athletic equity, etc.), another a look at the life of Nixon leading up to the presidency, and a third a complete detailed account of the Watergate matters and other cover-ups. This is one of the smaller libraries, found right in the center of suburban Yorba Linda. A valuable look into the actions and thoughts of Nixon, and his administration - Well done
