Love walking along the Sandgate/Shorncliffe esplanade - stunning views no matter the weather, great spot to get away from it all and clear the head. Popular with families for picnics - it does get a little busy in the warmer months.

We took the kids to Shorncliffe Pier and the playground is amazing! Plus the beach is perfect for little children and there are bike paths for bigger kids. Great place to spend the day!!
